This is a Canadian e-transfer method supported by several major Canadian banks. It is a very quick, cheap and secure way of making e-transfers if you have an account in such a bank. If you don´t have an account in such a bank, Interac is not available to you.
With Interac, you do not have to share financial information with the recipient. Another advantage with Interac is that you don´t need a credit card or debit card for it to work.
Interac uses bank-level security, including encryption, and you use your normal bank log-in to verify transactions. Nowadays, Interac supports TouchID verification.
It is possible to use Interac e-Transfer for both deposits and withdrawals into online accounts such as online casino accounts, online CFD broker accounts, online stock trading platform accounts, etcetera.

About Interac
Interac is based in Canada and headquartered in Toronto, the country´s most populous city.
The Interac system was launched back in 1984, and is thus considerably older than payment solutions such as PayPal, Neteller, Skrill, etc. Interac is an inter-banking service that connects banks with each other, and also with merchants. The modern version of the Interac system – the version that includes e-transfers – premiered in 1996.
Interac was developed by the Interac Association, funded by the Royal Bank of Canada, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, the Toronto Dominion Bank, Scotiabank, and Desjardins. In 1996, the Interac Association created the for-profit entity Acxsys. Interac and Acxsys merged into the for-profit Interac Corporation in 2018.
